How do you backup your computer? I have tried several programs. The first one that I used was SyncToy from Microsoft. SyncToy is a free utility and does a great job of keeping information in sync between your computer and a backup source. The main downside of the program is that there is no integrated scheduling program. I have been running Nagios to monitor systems on my network. Nagios does a very good job and Nagios is very flexible. After you add a few agents; NRPE for Linux and NSClient for Windows, and you can monitor just about everything in the environment. I have been very happy with the the configuration and alerting within Nagios. I have just started to ask if there was something which could do more.

The latest version of Mozilla Firefox is out, version 3. Firefox was released around 1pm today and I was finally able to download it this evening after getting home from work. I do not see a lot of differences between version 3 and RC2 that I have been running for several weeks.
I did have a problem after installing the software, Firefox would not start. Firefox just kept crashing, but that was fixed after a simple reboot of my Vista system.


I do not know what is going on recently with Yahoo! Mail's spam detection, but it has been terrible. It was bad and then it seemed to get better for a few weeks and now it is bad again. I marked more mail as spam than good mail today. I hope they fix it soon!
