I have been using Firefox 4 since the second beta version and I have been impressed with the new look and speed, but I have run into many problems with the beta. There are many sites that do not work properly and many of those sites fail mainly because of the Javascript on the site. One nice thing about the Firefox 4 beta is that I can report back to Mozilla quickly and easily when something does not work and I have taken the time to report the problems back to Mozilla. I am hoping they are listening and fixing the problems that I have reported.
It is pretty painful as I love Firefox, but I am considering running Chrome. The latest version of Chrome is very fast. The main reason for staying with Firefox is because of the extensions. I have paired down the number of extensions that I use, but there are several which I really like and use, for example, Firefox Sync. Sync is great for keeping things like bookmarks, and history the same across computers. I now see that Chrome has the same features built in, so it becomes more compelling to switch.
