And the virtualization winner is...

I decided several weeks ago that I was going with VMware Fusion for virtualizing my office environment.  I really wanted to stay with Parallels as it performed much better, but I ended up going with VMware Fusion because of all the VMware images that I needed to run related to my job.

Parallels indicates they are able to convert VMware images over to Parallel images, but I was only ever able to convert Windows VMware images over.  Any Linux based image would not convert, and most of the VMware images that I need to run are Linux based.

I am currently running VMware Fusion version 3.1.0.  VMware has doing a good job of improving the performance of Windows 7 in version 3.1, which made my decision easier to make when I compared it to Parallels.
