VMware Fusion Beta for OS X

In my last blog entry, I was complaining that VMware Fusion was noticeably slower than Parallels.  I also found that somebody pointed out, thanks Pat, that there is a beta version of VMware Fusion 3.1 and the release notes indicated speed improvements, especially with the graphics, which is the biggest problem that I had with VMware Fusion.  I have since downloaded the beta software and I had to say that I am pleasantly surprised that all my issues with the performance of the graphs seems to have been fixed.

I am going to continue to run VMware Fusion for a bit and see if I can find any other problems.  VMware allows me to run their software for 30 days and may be by then the released version will be available.  Right now, I am leaning back towards VMware Fusion mainly because I have been able to run any VMware image in Fusion and that is important to me.
