 For Christmas, I got a very cool book, The Geek Atlas: 128 Places Where Science and Technology Come Alive by John Graham-Cumming. As the title suggests, The Geek Atlas contains 128 places around the world where technology came alive. The book takes each site and describes the science and technology in lay terms and then a more detailed explanation. The book also including information on visiting the location, if you are so inclined.

I am just starting to go through the book and am enjoying each subject as I get to it, but a must have book for the true geek.
